I returned to Luhansk frequently to visit my family. During these trips, I try to take some photos, resulting in a large documentary project about my family, residents of Luhansk and others who considered themselves residents of the self-proclaimed “Luhansk National Republic”. These photos were featured in Musée Immediate, a book dedicated to the process of decommunisation in modern Ukraine and the conflict in Donbas. Musée Immédiat was published by Essarter Editions in October 2017. The selection of these photos was shown at the book's exhibition in Atelier Meraki gallery in Paris.
