Katia Motylova is a photographer and bookmaker, born in Luhansk, Ukraine and based in The Hague, Netherlands.
In her practice, she explores identity within a political context, drawing from her personal experiences and family history.
Close ties to the Donbas industry have shaped her interest in scrutinizing propaganda narratives and their impact on lives. Katia combines photography and art bookmaking with a consistent focus on personal stories.
